Job Description:
This faculty member provides
didactic and clinical
instruction for first
and second year Physician
Assistant students enrolled
in an Associate in Science
degree Physician Assistant
Program.
Duties
& Responsibilities:
Advises
students and participates
in departmental and committee
meetings, grant proposal
activities, and curriculum
development and evaluation
Coordinates
program functions and
involvement in re-accreditation
preparation expected
Serves
as a liaison between job
placement, development
and retention, as well
as admissions and interview
process
Performs
other duties as assigned
Minimum
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree granted
by a Physician Assistant
Program
Master's degree as a PA
or in a related field
preferred
Two (2) years clinical
practice as a PA. Current
NCCPA certification
Possession of or eligibility
for registration to practice
as a PA in the State of
Florida
Two (2) years of teaching
experience in a college
setting and knowledge
of instructional technology
preferred
