Job Description:
The Faculty Physician Assistant Program provides didactic and clinical instruction for first and second year Physician Assistant students enrolled in an Associate in Science degree Physician Assistant Program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Advises students and participates in departmental and committee meetings, grant proposal activities, and curriculum development and evaluation
- Coordinates program functions and involvement in re-accreditation preparation expected
Serves as a liaison between job placement, development and retention, as well as admissions and interview process
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree granted by a Physician Assistant Program
- Master's degree as a PA or in a related field preferred
- Two years clinical practice as a PA Current NCCPA certification
- Current NCCPA certification
- Possession of or eligibility for registration to practice as a PA in the State of Florida
- Two (2) years of teaching experience in a college setting and knowledge of instructional technology preferred
