The University of Kentucky Division of Physical Therapy is seeking a doctorally prepared faculty member with strong clinical research interests and demonstrated capabilities. This well-established program with campuses in both Lexington and Hazard has recently transitioned to a Professional DPT Degree Program. Faculty also contributes to the Rehabilitation Sciences PhD program within our College of Health Sciences. The UKPT Program is housed in an outstanding new facility, with exceptionally equipped clinical and bench research labs, training labs and classrooms. Fourteen dynamic PT educators support the PT and PhD programs using state of the art interactive television connectivity to provide direct linkage for didactic presentations to distance sites. This tenure track position on the Lexington campus requires an individual with a defined research agenda in the neuromuscular or musculoskeletal domains to complement the research focus within the division. A flexible balance of instruction and research is provided to facilitate individual faculty focus and maximize productivity and success. Tremendous interdisciplinary collaborative opportunities in research exist within the UK Medical Center.
