Applications are invited for the tenure-track positions of Adult Health, Pediatric Nursing, and Community Health to begin August, 2012. These positions are at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Nursing depending on credentials and experience. The rank of Associate Professor requires a Doctoral Degree.
The School of Nursing is housed in a state-of-the-art technology building that includes smart classrooms and five simulation labs- virtual hospital lab, adult health lab, critical care lab, maternal child lab, and assessment lab. The program offers a BSN, MSN, online RN/BSN program, and AMEDD program. Our Chair of Excellence holder is a mentor and resource person for grant writing, research, and publications. The School of Nursing has a full-time advisor for pre-nursing students which allows faculty more time for academics. The national annual NCLEX pass rate for 2010 was 98.66.
