The University of Connecticut School of Nursing is seeking applications to fill two (2) full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor positions. Candidates with expertise in informatics, pediatric nursing, simulation, psychiatric nursing, gerontology and comparative effectiveness research, or health disparities research are especially encouraged to apply. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level; engaging in scholarly activities; and participating in professional service activities.

Minimum qualifications: Earned doctorate in nursing or a related field. Demonstrated ability to contribute through research, teaching, and/or public engagement to the diversity and excellence of the learning experience. Record of scholarly productivity. Eligibility for licensure as RN in Connecticut. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationships strategies.
Preferred qualifications: Doctorate in nursing. Expertise in informatics, pediatric nursing, simulation, psychiatric nursing, gerontology and comparative effectiveness research, or health disparities research. Previous teaching experience in an institution of higher education; evidence of research experience and grant funding. Completion of a post-doctoral fellowship and research agenda using quantitative methods.
These are 9-month, tenure-track positions subject to annual review until tenure is earned. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
