Job Description:
Sanford Health Chamberlain, Chamberlain, South Dakota, is seeking a full-time Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing. The Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, along with the CEO/Administrator, has the overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations. This includes quality of patient/resident care, program/care management, environmental safety, budget constraints, and responding to identified needs to ensure regulatory compliance; performing necessary delegation and coordination of clinical, operational, and managerial activities to accomplish the objectives of the departments. Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse school of nursing. Must maintain continuing education hours to ensure current licensure. Prefer Bachelors Degree in nursing with 3-5 years experience in hospital/long term care management (as appropriate). Must be a licensed RN and eligible for licensure in the state.
