Job Description:
The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, College of Nursing and Health Sciences is seeking applicants for full-time tenure track faculty positions beginning in fall 2012. Positions are available in Eau Claire and Marshfield, where excellent opportunities for research, leadership, clinical practice and professional development are available. The Department of Nursing offers CCNE-accredited BSN and MSN programs, an accelerated second degree program, and a statewide collaborative BSN completion program. A Doctorate in Nursing Practice program was launched the summer of 2010. Expertise is preferred in the following areas: Advanced Clinical Practice with Adult and/or Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner Certification, Acute Care/Medical Surgical, Mental/Behavioral Health, and Maternal/Child Health (Marshfield site).
Master’s degree in nursing and doctorate or substantial progress toward a doctorate is required for tenure-track faculty positions. Applicants must have RN licensure in the US and be eligible for RN licensure in Wisconsin, with WI RN license required by the start of the contract period.
