We are pleased to announce the opening of full-time, tenure track faculty positions. We seek innovative and energetic candidates with earned doctorates in nursing or related fields that can make a substantial contribution to our research mission and educational programs. Candidates with expertise conducting research with under-represented groups and experience working with students from diverse backgrounds are of particular interest. Research is a major component in the life of the University and the College of Nursing has research programs in cancer, aging, end of life, women, children and mental health.
Established in 1948, The College of Nursing has a long and distinguished history of excellence in nursing and gerontology education, research and practice. The College awards baccalaureate degrees to traditional and second-degree students as well as registered nurses. Graduate education offered by the College of Nursing includes the Master of Science degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and PhD. We also offer certificates and a Master of Science degree in Gerontology.
The College is an integral part of the Academic Health Sciences Center, which consists of the University Health Care system, Eccles Health Sciences Library, the School of Medicine and the Colleges of Health, Pharmacy and Nursing.
