The Department of Nursing invites applicants for a part time ranked faculty position (.75 FTE) for the 2011-2012 academic year as a Simulated Learning Laboratory Coordinator.
Responsibilities: work with clinical and laboratory faculty to provide contextualized learning experiences where students learn to integrate nursing process and clinical decision making/clinical judgment. The Simulated Learning Laboratory Coordinator oversees staffing of the campus nursing laboratory, monitors plans for course laboratory experiences, and assists laboratory staff to plan learning stations and simulations in the campus laboratory.
Requirements: graduate degree in nursing, teaching experience, and eligibility for RN licensure in the State of Minnesota. Experience in higher education and associate degree nursing education, degree in nursing education, experience with simulated learning, and recent clinical experience are preferred.
