Job Description:
Project Morry, a nonprofit, year-round youth development organization, is seeking residential RN’s interested in being a part of our dynamic and progressive summer camp program. Project Morry is dedicated to giving at-risk kids an enriching learning opportunities through a curriculum based on school gatherings and an intensive summer camp experience.
General Purpose:
To provide and monitor the health and well being of our summer camp kids and staff. To make a difference in the lives of others.
Position Description:
Applicants must possess a proven knowledge of advanced first aid and have an understanding of the health needs of kids ranging from 5th to 10th grade. Nurses work in our Health Center and are provided with living accommodations.
Duties include but are not limited to: communicating health needs of kids to staff and leadership, review of health histories, distribution of both prescription and over the counter meds, maintenance of accurate health logs, communicating with parents as needed, able to provide first aid for minor injuries and sickness. Qualifications:
RN or LPN license required, current first aid, CPR certification and experience with children very helpful.
