Need Help - Changing Careers from Law to Nursing
PLEASE: I DESPERATELY need ADVICE - I am trying to find a job in the Medical Field, but I have been turned down left & right because I am "over qualified" and/or do not have Medical Field experience, in my 23 year corporate managerial experience.
After 23 years in the "corporate world", specializing in Corporate & HR Law and Operations, I could not figure out why I was so unfulfilled and MISERABLE personally. Recently, after much soul-searching, I know to be a RN is my TRUE CALLING :-) (WOW, took that long to figure out what was missing! I did not have the confidence, but I TRULY BELIEVE I AM Smart enough and DEDICATED to go to Nursing School! (I realized if I can ace the PreLSAT to go to Law School , I have faith I can do what my heart leads me to, which is Nursing. Better late than never, thank God!). I am desperately trying to find a job in the DFW Texas area in a Hospital or Surgical facility, but my Executive and Managerial work experience is not in the Medical Field.
SOMEONE, anyone - Point me in the right direction please! *Advice, guideance, help with my resume needed*
Thanks & God Bless,
Guardian-Mikal
