SCHOLARSHIP: National American Arab Nurses Association OFFERED BY: NAANA Scholarships DESCRIPTION:NAANA is pleased, once again, to announce its annual scholarships, awarded to the most meritorious applicants who are engaged in studying nursing at the Associate Degree, Bachelor degree, Master’s degree or RN-BSN levels. Annually, awards are made in the amounts of $500 - $1000, depending on the funds available in a given year for scholarships. The awards may be applied toward tuition and/or books in a given academic year.

I'm not being monitored but had to meet State Board
Tue, 09/27/2011 - 8:00pm — LUV2BLPNI am searching for an answer to my Question.I am an LPN before I could take my NCLEX I had to meet with State Board in Richmond,due to my DUI and Shoplifting convictions.They did grant me to do so.They also informed me that it will be up to the facility to hire me.I do no understand how the nursing facility can deny me employment while they have nurses employed with greater or lesser convictions. I feel discriminated and still paying for my convictions.First and last time.I've worked my way through the medical field to become an LPN.Is there something that can be done,I love nursing it's my passion I enjoy being able to help others make a difference.Thank You
